M.V. Diabetes and Prof. M Viswanathan Diabetes Research Centre Unveil "MV SURGI BOOT" on December 12, 2023, in Commemoration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities
On December 12, 2023, M.V. Diabetes and Prof. M Viswanathan Diabetes Research Centre unveiled the "MV SURGI BOOT" in honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event featured Chief Guest Dr. J. Sangumani, Director of Medical Education & Research, Chennai, and Dr. Vijay Viswanathan, Head & Chief Diabetologist at M.V. Diabetes, who launched the MV SURGI BOOT together.
The MV SURGI BOOT is an indigenously developed offloading device in India designed for people with foot ulcers. Manufactured in-house at MV Diabetes, this device offers a low-cost solution with enhanced healing time, making it highly beneficial for the Indian population.
